Implementation of martial law does not affect state budget revenues

11/30/18

On November 26, 27 and 28, the general fund of the state budget received customs payments equal to UAH 1.6 billion, UAH 1.7 billion and UAH 1.34 billion respectively.

“Lower customs revenues on November 28 compared to the previous day are due to the specifics of customs revenues in the course of the week: peak revenues on Monday and Tuesday, lower revenues from Wednesday until Friday. This is in no way linked to the introduction of martial law,” explained deputy Minister of Finance Sergiy Verlanov.

Tax revenues on November 26, 27 and 28 amounted UAH 2.2 billion, UAH 2 billion and UAH 3 billion respectively with the average daily tax revenues in November amounting UAH 2.4 billion.

The Ministry of Finance expects that the revenues of the general fund of the state budget in November will exceed the planned figures.
