On September 13, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman had a meeting with representatives of business. The meeting was also attended by First Vice Prime Minister S. Kubiv, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk, Deputy Minister of Finance Y. Kapinus, Head of the Parliament Committee for Tax and Customs Policy N. Yuzhanina.
The meeting was conducted to continue the dialogue between the Government and business on the most rankling issues and to contribute to finding relevant solutions to these issues. Pressure and manipulations by the State Fiscal Service remain the most important issues for business.
“Nobody, including myself as the Prime Minister, is going to tolerate harassment on business. Do your job properly, take care of public interests, but do not cross the red line where the extermination of Ukrainian business starts”, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said addressing representatives of enforcement authorities.
A comprehensive reform at the State Fiscal Service poses a systemic and full-scale solution to the problem. The reform is now being elaborated by the Ministry of Finance, the Parliamentary Committee for Tax and Customs as well as by experts. Also, a working group consisting of MPs, civil experts, business representatives as well as representatives of the State Fiscal Service and the Ministry of Finance is now finalizing a draft law meant to improve the tax system. This step shall make life simpler for business and create favorable conditions for its development.
Deputy Minister of Finance Yevgen Kapinus said: “Our core task is to reduce pressure on business, to re-gain its trust and to ensure its transparent interaction with the Government”.
