​The terms of the next micro-financial aid program of the EU will be in line with the development priorities of Ukraine’s economy

During his working visit to Washington on April 21, Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk met Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission for the Euro and Social Dialogue, Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union.

The parties discussed the fourth micro-financial aid program of the EU for Ukraine and its terms.

Both parties stressed that these terms will correspond to the development priorities of Ukraine’s economy and are aimed to enhance the financial and economic stability of Ukraine, support the fight against corruption and continue structural reforms.

“We regularly receive a huge support from the EU meant to transform Ukraine into a country with a sustainable economy and a stable financial system. The fourth micro-financial aid program recently approved by the European Commission is an extremely important step of our European partners supporting reforms in our country”, Oleksandr Danyliuk said.

Valdis Dombrovskis said that the European Commission welcomes the transformations which has been implemented in Ukraine over the last several years. He stressed that Ukraine has to finalize a number of important reforms which will contribute to the economic development and fight against corruption.
