Oleksandr Danyliuk is due to meet managing director of the IMF Christine Lagarde at the IMF conference in Dubrovnik

Oleksandr Danyliuk is participating in the conference “Restoring development in Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe: role of governance and institutions” organized by the IMF and the Central Bank of Croatia in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik.

In the course of the conference, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine is due to meet managing director of the IMF Christine Lagarde and other IMF representatives to discuss the current issues regarding cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF.

Oleksandr Danyliuk will also participate in the round table “How to accelerate the development of institutions and improve public governance” to share the Ukrainian experience of institutional reforms with the Vice Prime Minister of Croatia Martina Dalic, head economist of the EBRD Sergiy Guriev and professor of the Hertie School of Governance Alina Mungiu-Pippidi.

The participants of the round table will also discuss ways for the further development of public and civil institutions in the region and increase of the effectiveness of cooperation between public institutions and civil organizations.
