Andriy Hradil

Deputy Minister

Andriy Hradil received his degree in economy in 1995 at Kherson Industrial Institute.

In 2005-2008 he studied at the National Academy for Public Administration at the President of Ukraine and received a master’s degree with the specialization “management of social development”.

Mr. Hradil started his career in 1995 at Kherson regional branch of the JSC “Agriculture and Industry Bank “Ukraina”” where he worked as an auditor of the 1st grade at the controlling and review department, an economist of the 1st grade, a senior economist as well as the chief economist of the department for credit resource and deposits and finally took over the position of the manager of the operations department.

From 2000 till 2002 Mr. Hradil worked as the deputy head of Kherson regional branch of the State Deposit Bank of Ukraine (“Derzhavny Oshchadny Bank Ukrainy”).
From 2002 till 2005 he occupied the position of the director of Kherson branch of the OJSC “Megabank”.

From 2005 till 2010 Andriy Hradil was the deputy head of Kherson regional administration in charge for finance, economy and foreign trade.

From 2007 till 2012 Mr. Hradil, in his position as an associate professor at the chair in tax and budget policy, worked as a lecturer at Kherson National Technical University.

From 2012 till 2015 he served as the head of the National Bank’s subsidiary in Kherson region, in the beginning of 2016 he was assigned to the position of the National Bank’s representative in Kherson region.

In February 2017 Andriy Hradil took over the position of the Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

Mr. Hradil is a candidate of economic science (the topic of his dissertation was “Financial Risks in Banking”); he is also a lecturer, author and co-author of 41 scientific works.

Mr. Hradil has 10 years of experience in public service and has the title of a public servant of the 4th grade.
